ABC Craft and Learn is a free, hands-on library program designed to help preschoolers develop early literacy and fine motor skills through crafting and play. Children will work on the physical skills needed for writing, such as gripping scissors and glue sticks, while exploring the alphabet with their caregivers. This program is designed specifically for children ages 3 to 5 and their parents or caregivers. It takes place at the Middle Creek Community Library in Apex, which offers plenty of free parking in the main lot. Because space and crafting supplies are limited, you will want to arrive early to secure a spot for your child. It makes a smart Sunday afternoon outing because it combines structured learning with a casual library visit. You can help your child practice school-readiness skills, grab a few new picture books for the week, and still make it home in time for an early dinner.
