What is 3rd-5th Grade Book Club? This is a monthly library gathering where upper elementary students meet to discuss a selected novel and share their thoughts with other young readers. What to Know: This free event is designed specifically for children in grades three through five. The group meets in the afternoon at the Northeast Regional Library on Green Road, which offers plenty of free parking in its main lot. For this session, kids should read Cincinnati Lee, Curse Breaker by Heidi Heilig before arriving so they can participate in the discussion. This program makes an excellent Saturday afternoon stop because it encourages a love of reading without the pressure of a school assignment. It is an easy, educational way to break up the weekend and get your child excited about their next library haul.
