- On-site parking is free, but the lots fill up very quickly on beautiful spring and fall weekends.
- The outdoor Museum Park is open daily from dawn to dusk, even on holidays when the indoor galleries are closed.
- Pack a picnic blanket and some snacks to enjoy on the massive lawns of the outdoor park.
- If you are visiting with toddlers, you might want to skip the quiet indoor galleries and stick to the outdoor park.
