• Arrive early on nice weekend mornings, as the parking lot near the waterfront fills up quickly.
• Stick to the paved east side of the loop for a flat, stroller-friendly walk, or just do a quick out-and-back walk on the boardwalk.
• The Waterfront Center loans out free fishing rods, reels, and beginner tackle, but call ahead to confirm availability.
• Keep your walk anchored near the main entrance if you are potty training, as the restrooms are located at the boathouse.
