Before you go
- Bring bug spray if you plan to be near the lake around dusk, and pack your own snacks since there are no concessions.
- Kids can borrow rods and reels for free through the Nature Center's tackle loaner program, and you can buy bait on-site.
- The flat, railed dock makes this an exceptionally safe and easy spot to introduce toddlers and young kids to fishing.
