Raleigh
City of Raleigh Breakfast with Santa. The city's page lists it as an annual event at the Tarboro Road Community Center, 121 N Tarboro St., Raleigh, NC 27610. Cost is "Free" and ages are "All." The page says it "will have free food, activities, gift raffles, and an appearance from a special guest," and "toys for ages 5- 11 (while supplies last)."
As of Nov 4, the page shows no 2026 date, time or sign-up. The page lists 919-996-6505; call before you plan around it. Don't assume you can just walk in until the city says so.
Cary
Tea with Santa at The Umstead Hotel. This one is ticketed, and it is the priciest thing on this list. Tea is at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov 28, Sunday, Nov 29, and Sundays, Dec 6, 13 and 20. On Saturday, Dec 12 and Saturday, Dec 19, only the 10:30 a.m. tea is offered.
The hotel warns of long hold times, and says "hanging up will result in the loss of your place in the queue."
