Tophouse is a high-energy acoustic band that blends bluegrass, rock, folk, and Irish traditional music. Their fast-paced, genre-bending sound relies on fiddle, guitar, and banjo to create an upbeat, foot-stomping live show. Tickets are $29.75, and doors open at 7:00 PM before the 8:00 PM show. Because Lincoln Theatre is primarily a standing-room venue with limited peripheral seating, this concert is best for parents attending with teenagers. Street parking is free in downtown Raleigh after 6:00 PM, or you can use the Cabarrus Deck located just a block away. This concert makes a great weekend pick if you want to introduce your older kids to live, local-feeling music in an intimate setting.
