An interactive program with books, music, rhymes, and movement to nurture pre-reading skills.Continue the fun after this program with a Hispanic Heritage Month Stay & Play. We will have stations designed to help build pre-literacy skills!
Toddler Storytime is a free, interactive library program designed to build early literacy skills through books, songs, and movement. This thirty-minute session is tailored for toddlers who learn best when they can move around. After the stories wrap up, the library hosts a themed Stay and Play session with hands-on activity stations celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. You do not need to register ahead of time, and there is plenty of free parking right outside the Wendell branch. It is an easy, low-pressure outing to add to your weekday routine. Your child gets to burn off some energy indoors, and you can head home with a fresh stack of library books just in time for afternoon naps.
