Toddlers and their caregivers are welcome to join us on Tuesdays mornings at 10:30 AM for a toddler storytime consisting of songs, dancing, flannel board stories, read alouds, and bubbles! The same storytime will be offered twice (once at 9:45 AM and once at 10:30 AM). Toddler Storytime is a free weekly library program in Durham that combines interactive reading, music, and movement for young children. The library staff leads the group through read-aloud books, flannel board activities, and physical movement to keep small children active and learning. This program is designed for toddlers and their caregivers, making it a perfect fit for children ages one to three. The event is completely free to attend and takes place in the Southwest Meeting Room. You do not need to register in advance, but arriving ten minutes early helps you secure a spot and settle in before the music starts. While this is a weekday morning event, it serves as a great anchor for your weekly routine, offering a structured, low-stress outing where your child can practice social skills with peers in a welcoming environment.
