Toddlers and their caregivers are welcome to join us on Tuesdays mornings at 10:30 AM for a toddler storytime consisting of songs, dancing, flannel board stories, read alouds, and bubbles! The same storytime will be offered twice (once at 9:45 AM and once at 10:30 AM). Toddler Storytime is a free weekly library program in Durham designed to help young children build early literacy skills through interactive play and reading. The thirty-minute session combines short read-aloud books with active movement, music, flannel board stories, and a bubble finale to keep toddlers moving. This event is best suited for children ages one to three along with their caregivers. It takes place in the Southwest Meeting Room at the Southwest Regional Library, which offers free on-site parking and accessible restrooms with changing tables. You do not need to register in advance, but arriving ten minutes early helps your child get settled before the music starts.
