Billed as the slowest ride in town, the Third Thursday Cruiser Ride is a short, fun, and social loop around Downtown Raleigh. The route is decided at the last minute, and riders of all kinds are welcome to come out and enjoy the easygoing pace. It's a family-friendly event, so bring the whole crew and any bike you like, whether it's a cruiser, a kids' bike, or whatever you've got. What to Know: The ride happens Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 7pm to 9pm, meeting at Oak City Cycling Project in Raleigh. It's free to join. Since you'll be riding into the evening, be sure to bring lights, and a helmet is strongly recommended for everyone. The slow, social pace makes this welcoming for families and casual riders alike.
