Join us for The Great Southeast Pollinator Census at the Apex Nature Park Pollinator Garden! Stop by anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to participate in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, a community science project that helps track and protect pollinator populations across the Southeast. Participants will spend 15 minutes observing and counting pollinators visiting flowering plants. No experience necessary. The entire process, including instructions and your 15 minute Pollinator Observation and Recording Count, will take approximately 30 minutes. You may arrive anytime during the event window. Then, stick around to explore the pollinator garden or take a stroll along the Apex Natural Heritage Trail ! The Census is designed to increase awareness of pollinators, support pollinator habitat creation, and collect valuable data used by educators, researchers, gardeners, and communities throughout the region.
