Sunflower Prints is a two-hour evening art class where participants use real leaves to stamp acrylic paint onto canvas. Held at the DCP Academy Pavilion in Cary, this workshop provides all necessary painting supplies so you can focus entirely on your creation. This specific program is designed strictly for adults ages 18 and older, making it an ideal option for a solo creative outlet or a night out with friends. Registration is required ahead of time. Cary residents pay fifteen dollars, while non-residents can secure a spot for twenty dollars. The pavilion offers paved parking nearby, and you should wear clothes that you do not mind getting a bit of acrylic paint on. It is a wonderful mid-week escape to clear your mind, try a new artistic medium, and bring home a seasonal piece of handmade decor for your mantle.
