Stretch and Refresh is a free, hour-long mobility class designed specifically for seniors. Led by a licensed physical therapist, the session focuses on gentle, pain-free movements completed entirely while seated in chairs. This class takes place at the Academy Pavilion inside Downtown Cary Park. It is completely free to attend, and all movement levels are welcome. You do not need to bring any special equipment, but wearing comfortable clothing is recommended. Parking is available in the public deck on Town Hall Commons or along nearby Academy Street. This session makes a wonderful outing to share with visiting grandparents. You can enjoy a gentle workout together in the morning, then grab a coffee and stroll through the paved park paths afterward.
