Storytime with Ms. Chloe is an interactive, high-energy reading and music program held in the Children's Programming Room at the Durham Main Library. This session is designed for toddlers through kindergarteners, though older and younger siblings are welcome to participate. Because this is a noisy, movement-based event featuring rhythm instruments and bubbles, it is ideal for children who prefer active participation over sitting still. There is no cost to attend, and registration is not required. You can park in the library's dedicated lot, and you should plan to arrive a few minutes early to secure a spot in the programming room. It is an easy, low-stress weekday outing that gets the kids out of the house and burning off energy before lunch. The post-storytime play session with dinosaurs and coloring pages offers a built-in opportunity for children to socialize while parents chat.
