Stay and Play is a free, drop-in social hour at the Athens Drive Community Library featuring hands-on toys, coloring sheets, and building stations. This gathering is designed for toddlers and preschoolers, though older siblings are welcome to join. It starts immediately after the morning Family Storytime, making it easy to transition from listening to active play. The library provides all the materials, including magnetic tiles and puzzles, so you do not need to bring anything along. Parking is free and convenient in the library lot. It makes a great weekend stop because it requires zero advance planning or cleanup. You can let your kids burn off some creative energy in a quiet, welcoming space, pick out your books for the week, and still make it home in time for afternoon naps.
