Need motivation to finish that project in your closet? Don't have access to stained glass tools at home? Want to expand your beginning stained glass skills? Join this 4-week stained glass studio and receive one-on-one guidance to improve your skills and outcome of your work. You will have access to hand tools, soldering irons, grinders and flux/patina. Students will be in charge of providing their own pattern and supplies for this project including glass, solder, and foil. Solder must be lead free for studio use. This class is NOT suitable for those that have never worked with stained glass before. Please check out one of our stained glass workshops for a beginner level introduction to stained glass! Stained Glass Studio (18+) is a weekly, multi-session workshop designed for intermediate crafters to work on their own glass projects with professional tools and guidance. Located at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, this program runs on Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. While the studio space, grinders, soldering irons, and hand tools are completely free to use, you must bring your own glass, patterns, foil, and lead-free solder. Free parking is available in the lot directly adjacent to the venue. This is a fantastic opportunity to carve out some dedicated kid-free time, connect with other local makers, and finally finish those half-done projects sitting in your closet.
