Paper & Stars Studio is bringing Spellbound at Mordecai, a children's festival, to Mordecai Historic Park, 1 Mimosa Street, Raleigh, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a free event. Fall is looking great around the Triangle, whether you're looking for something spooky or totally kid-friendly! We have also put together a big list of Halloween events and Trick or Treat events! This is a fun, family-friendly event where you can: Decorate a pumpkin Shop for enchanting handmade items and treats Meet mysterious creatures Enjoy family-friendly stage performances Play on inflatables Compete in a costume contest MAke crafts This is a family event full of spooky fun for children – no horror, gore, weapons, or full face masks please. This event is presented in partnership with Raleigh Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources. Look for updates in the Facebook event. Haunted Mordecai Also, Ghost Guild is presenting Haunted Mordecai the same day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. These tours will start with a brief introduction in the Visitor Center classroom before heading out into the park. At each location where our data was collected, Guild members will share firsthand experiences, findings, and investigation data right in the exact spots where they occurred! Tours take place every 30 minutes. Tickets are free.
