Salsa at the Knightdale Station Park is a free community outdoor concert and dance event hosted by the Town of Knightdale and the Oak City Music Collective. What to Know: The event takes place at the park amphitheater, which offers plenty of grassy space for kids to move around. Admission is free, and you can park in the main paved lots off North First Avenue. Pack blankets, lawn chairs, and sweaters for the cooler October evening air. Local food trucks will be parked nearby for dinner and treats. This is an easy Friday night plan because it requires very little preparation. You can let the kids burn off their energy on the grass while you listen to the music, grab dinner from a food truck, and head home in time for early bedtimes.
