Really Really Free Market!

Imagine a market where everything, and we mean everything, is completely free. That is the heart of the Really Really Free Market, a joyful gathering of neighbors and their gifts at the Carrboro Town Commons outside Town Hall. You will find home goods, toys, books, clothing, food, jewelry, cupcakes, appliances, furniture, DVDs, music, poetry, and even services like haircuts or card readings, all offered with no money, no bartering, and no strings attached. All you have to bring is yourself, and if you like, an item or a talent to share. It is a beautiful, community-building way to spend an afternoon and a great lesson in generosity for the kids. What to Know: Friday, July 31, 2026 at Carrboro Town Commons, outside Town Hall, Carrboro. Everything is really, really free. Bring reusable bags for anything you take home, and consider bringing gently used items or a service to give.
