Reading Time with Ms. Chloe is a program offering private, twenty-minute literacy tutoring sessions for children at the Durham County Library. To secure a spot, you must register online in advance through the library website. The program is free, and you can bring your child's favorite book from home or let the instructor select appropriate titles for their current reading level. Parents are required to remain on the children's floor of the library for the duration of the appointment. This weekday afternoon session is an excellent opportunity to support your child's classroom learning without the pressure of a formal school environment. It provides targeted, professional attention to help early readers master difficult phonics blends in a quiet, supportive space.
