Pointillism Dot Art: 3rd-5th STEAM Lab is a free, hands-on educational workshop where elementary students learn to create images using small, distinct dots of color. Hosted at the Richard B. Harrison Community Library in Raleigh, this session teaches children how mathematical patterns and artistic techniques merge to form cohesive pictures. This program is designed specifically for children in third, fourth, and fifth grades. Admission is entirely free, and the library provides all the necessary art supplies, so you do not need to bring anything from home. It is an excellent weekend option because it offers a structured, creative outlet during the Saturday afternoon slump. Your child gets to experiment with paint and learn a new skill, and the library staff handles all the cleanup afterward.
