Play and Explore is a free, drop-in social hour for young children and their caregivers at the South Regional Library in Durham. This program is designed for toddlers and preschoolers who are learning to share toys and interact with peers. The library provides a variety of age-appropriate toys, and sessions move outdoors to the grassy area when the weather is clear. You do not need to register in advance, and parking is free in the dedicated library lot. It is a low-pressure way to break up your morning routine, let your child burn off some energy, and chat with other adults who are in the same parenting stage.
