Page Farms Pumpkin Picking is an annual autumn event in Raleigh where visitors can harvest their own pumpkins and enjoy traditional farm activities. Located just off Mount Herman Road, this working family farm opens its gates for a morning of outdoor play and seasonal harvesting. What to Know: Admission is fourteen dollars per person, which includes access to the pumpkin patch, a hayride around the property, the corn maze, and the barnyard play area. Children will especially enjoy the cow train and the corn crib. Parking is free on-site in the grass lot. Because this is a working farm with dirt paths, wear closed-toe shoes and bring a stroller with sturdy wheels if you have toddlers. This event makes an excellent weekday outing because the morning hours are typically less crowded than busy October weekends. It allows younger children to explore the play areas and farm animals at a much slower, more relaxed pace.
