Page Farms Pumpkin Picking is an annual autumn event in Raleigh where families can harvest their own pumpkins and play on a working farm. Located just off Mount Herman Road, this historic family farm opens its gates for seasonal activities designed for younger children. Admission is fourteen dollars per person and covers the corn maze, hayrides, a cow train, and access to the barnyard playground. Children under two get in free, and you can purchase pumpkins separately by the pound. The farm has gravel parking on site, but the paths can get dusty, so leave the pristine strollers at home and wear closed-toe shoes. This farm is an ideal morning outing because it offers all the classic autumn activities in a compact, easy-to-navigate space. You can easily wrap up your visit within two hours, leaving plenty of time to get home before afternoon naps.
