Page Farms Pumpkin Picking is an active, working farm experience in Raleigh where children can pick their own pumpkins and play on the grounds. Admission covers the hayride, corn maze, playground, and a chance to see the farm animals, including goats, sheep, and cows. Tickets are fourteen dollars per person, though you will need to pay extra for any pumpkins you take home. The farm does not allow pets, and the gates close to new arrivals at five in the afternoon. Toddlers and elementary-aged children will get the most out of the play areas, especially the corn crib and cow train. This is a straightforward, traditional farm visit that keeps children active outdoors without requiring a long drive out of the Triangle. It is an easy way to kick off the autumn season close to home.
