Hillsborough Gallery of Arts, 121 N. Churton St., Hillsborough, is owned and operated by local artists. Hillsborough Gallery of Arts represents established artists exhibiting modern and contemporary fine art and fine craft. Artworks include painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, fiber art, jewelry, blown glass, fused glass, stained glass, metals, encaustics, enamels, watercolors and wood. The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts hosts the Orange County Artist Guild Preview Exhibit from October 27 to November 15, 2026. During the first two full weekends in November, 105 artists located throughout Orange County will be participating in OCAG Open Studio Tour. This juried event and opening their studios to visitors. OCAG's Open Studio Tour is a rare opportunity for art lovers from Orange County and beyond to meet artists in their places of work, to view and purchase art directly from the artists, and in many instances to watch as artists demonstrate how they create their pieces. Many of these artists will have their work on display at Hillsborough Gallery of Art. The opening reception will take place Friday, October 30, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. During the reception, live music on the patio will be provided by the Lars Barbary Trio. This is a free event that takes place during Hillsborough's Last Friday event. Visit Hillsborough Gallery of Arts on Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sunday 12 to 4 p.m. Special hours during Hillsborough's Last Friday events: 10 a.m. to 9 p.
