They believe opera is a cultural treasure that should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or familiarity with the medium. Paradox Opera reinterprets classic operas and produce contemporary works that resonate with today’s audiences, making the stories and emotions more relatable and meaningful. They hope to bridge the gap between the world of opera and a wider, more diverse audience, redefining the way people experience and appreciate this classic art. Artists Alissa Roca, soprano Gwen Hyland, baritone Daniel Seyfried, piano About Notes on View Live music in the galleries inspired by art—Notes on View is a pop-up music series at the NCMA featuring live performances that respond to and resonate with works on display.
