NC Museum of Natural Sciences Incredible Science is a weekly, thirty-minute live demonstration featuring rotating physics and chemistry experiments. Museum educators lead the presentation, showing visitors how different scientific principles work in real time through visual, fast-paced demonstrations. This program is best suited for elementary and middle school students who can sit and watch a presentation for a half hour. Admission is completely free, and you do not need to register in advance. The museum is located in downtown Raleigh, where street parking is metered on Fridays, but you can also use the Green Square parking deck nearby. It is a smart weekend option because the short duration fits easily between nap times or before school pickups. Since it takes place inside the museum, you can easily pair the demonstration with a walk through the dinosaur exhibits or a quick lunch at the daily planet cafe.
