NC Museum of Natural Sciences Incredible Science is a weekly, thirty-minute live demonstration featuring rotating experiments in physics and chemistry. Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, this presentation translates complex scientific concepts into visual demonstrations that keep children focused. This program is best suited for elementary and middle school students who can sit attentively for a half-hour presentation. Admission is entirely free, and you do not need to register in advance. Park at the Green Square parking deck on Edenton Street, or look for metered street parking along Jones Street. Since the program is short, plan to pair it with a walk through the dinosaur exhibits or a quick snack at the museum cafe. It makes an excellent weekday outing because it fits easily into a nap schedule or preschool calendar. You get high-quality museum programming without committing to a full-day excursion.
