Mix & Make: Taco Dip is a hands-on culinary workshop where children learn to assemble a simple, flavorful snack. Kids will follow a basic recipe to layer ingredients, practicing measuring and mixing skills in a supportive group setting. This free program is designed for school-aged children and takes place in the dedicated children's programming room. Because space and ingredients are limited, you must register your child in advance through the Durham County Library website. The library provides all necessary ingredients and kitchen tools, and parking is free in the regional library lot. It is a smart addition to your weekend lineup because it teaches practical life skills in a low-pressure environment. Your child gets to try a new recipe without you having to clean up the kitchen afterward.
