Migrating Monarchs!: K-5th Adventures is a free, hands-on educational program at the Southgate Community Library where children learn about the annual butterfly migration through games and crafts. Kids will participate in an interactive simulation game to see if they can successfully navigate the journey to Mexico, then build their own paper butterfly with moving wings to take home. This forty-five minute program is designed specifically for kindergarten through fifth-grade students. Admission is entirely free, and all crafting supplies are provided by the library.
