Meet Our Guest Stars - Art is an interactive museum event where children can meet professional dancers from the Carolina Ballet. Visitors can see performance costumes up close, practice dance steps with the artists, and watch selected scenes from the ballet Dracula. This event takes place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There is no extra fee to attend, as the activities are included with your regular museum admission. It is a wonderful weekend option because it combines hands-on movement with a chance to see professional performing arts in a space where kids are already comfortable playing.
