Market Bunch | Kids Activities at the Carrboro Farmers' Market

Market Bunch is a weekly educational program at the Carrboro Farmers' Market designed to connect children with local agriculture and healthy eating. Kids participate in hands-on activities, taste fresh produce, and interact directly with the farmers who grow their food. Local chefs also host live cooking demonstrations, sharing simple, kid-friendly recipes that you can recreate at home. This program is completely free and runs every Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is best suited for toddlers through elementary-aged children who are old enough to participate in simple games and tastings. While this is a weekday afternoon event rather than a weekend activity, it makes a perfect after-school outing to break up the weekly routine. It allows you to cross off your grocery shopping while your kids stay occupied with structured, educational activities.
