Market Bunch | Kids Activities at the Carrboro Farmers' Market

Market Bunch turns a trip to the Carrboro Farmers' Market into a hands-on adventure for kids. Every Wednesday, children take part in different activities and can earn coupons for participating, making it both fun and rewarding. The activities range from educational games to tasting new fruits and vegetables, all designed to encourage kids to connect with local farmers, food, and agriculture in a meaningful way. The market also welcomes local chefs who prepare kid-friendly dishes using seasonal produce and send families home with recipes to recreate. It is a wonderful way to get little ones excited about fresh, healthy food while supporting our local growers. If you are raising a picky eater, this kind of playful, no-pressure exposure to new foods can work wonders, and it is a sweet midweek outing for the whole family. What to Know: Wednesdays at the Carrboro Farmers' Market in the Chapel Hill area, with a listed date of Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Free to participate. Check the market for the full schedule of weekly activities.
