Live at Lunch is a free weekday concert series held on the Academy Plaza at Downtown Cary Park. It provides a casual outdoor setting where you can enjoy live music during the midday hours. If you are bringing toddlers or preschoolers, this is an easy outing because the open plaza allows kids to move around freely without the pressure of keeping them quiet. You can purchase lunch at the nearby Market 317, bring food from home, or grab takeout from one of the restaurants along Academy Street. This event makes a great addition to your weekly routine because it combines lunchtime with outdoor entertainment, letting you wrap up the outing just in time for afternoon naps.
