Lego Lab @ Southwest is a monthly Wednesday afternoon building program held in the Children's Programming Room at the Southwest Regional Library in Durham. During the first hour of the event, participants take on the designated Challenge of the Day to design their structures. From 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM, everyone helps sort the building blocks. There is no cost to attend this event, and working with other builders gives your child the chance to have their final creation put on display at the library for several weeks. This weekday activity offers a structured yet creative outlet to break up the school week. It is a straightforward, budget-friendly way for children to practice teamwork and see their hard work showcased in a public community space.
