K-5th Adventures is a free, hands-on crafting workshop designed for elementary school students at the Athens Drive Community Library. Kids will use simple materials to design and assemble a colorful star decoration to hang in a sunny window at home. This program is best suited for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The event is entirely free, and all crafting supplies are provided by the library. Parking is easy and free in the main high school and library shared lot, but you should give yourself a few extra minutes to navigate the school traffic during drop-off. It is a low-stress way to break up the school week with a creative project you do not have to clean up at your own kitchen table.
