K-5th Adventures: Squishy Circuits is a free, hands-on science workshop where elementary school students build working electrical circuits using conductive play dough and LED lights. Children will learn the basics of electricity by sculpting their own designs and watching them light up in a supportive, educational environment. This program is designed specifically for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and takes place at the Richard B. Harrison Community Library in Raleigh. Admission is entirely free, and all necessary building materials are provided by the library. Parking is available in the library's dedicated lot, and you do not need to bring any supplies from home. It is an excellent weekday option to keep young minds active after school. The interactive format allows kids to experiment at their own pace, making complex scientific concepts easy to understand through tactile play.
