K-5th Adventures: Leaves is a free, hands-on science and craft program for elementary schoolers at the Middle Creek Community Library in Apex. Children will learn how to identify local North Carolina foliage, explore how leaves travel in the wind, and create their own autumn-themed art projects. This program is designed specifically for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Admission is free, but space and supplies are limited to a first-come, first-served basis. You will need to arrive at the library early to pick up a required entry ticket at the circulation desk, which becomes available at 4:00 PM. The library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of free spaces, and you do not need to bring any supplies of your own.
