Have fun dancing, being silly, and getting out all your wiggles! For grades K-2nd only. Stop by the Youth Services desk starting at 4:15pm to pick up your free ticket.
K-2nd Adventures - Dance Party is a free, forty-five minute movement program designed to help early elementary students burn off after-school energy through music and active play. This session is strictly limited to children in kindergarten through second grade, making it a comfortable space for younger students to participate without older kids dominating the room. The event takes place in the children's section of the Eva Perry Regional Library in Apex, which offers plenty of free parking in its dedicated lot. You do not need to register in advance, but you must pick up a physical ticket at the Youth Services desk starting at 4:15 PM to secure a spot. It is an ideal weekday afternoon stop because it provides a structured, indoor outlet for physical activity right after the school day ends, leaving your evening free for dinner and bedtime routines.
Tickets are free and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the library's Youth Services desk starting at 4:15 PM on the day of the event.
Can preschool siblings join the dance program?
This specific program is strictly reserved for children currently enrolled in kindergarten through second grade to ensure the activities are developmentally appropriate.
