The 13th Annual Paderewski Piano Festival of Raleigh, co-produced with Chamber Music Raleigh, presents French pianist Julie Haismann in the beautiful, historic Smedes-Emory Parlor at Saint Mary’s School. A versatile young artist known for her energy, curiosity, and wide-ranging musicianship, Haismann has studied at leading conservatories in Lyon and Paris and is currently pursuing advanced study at Sweden’s Ingesund Piano Center. Winner of the 2024 Paris Regional Conservatory Concerto Competition, she performed Brahms’s Second Piano Concerto with the Paris CRR Symphonic Orchestra. Her artistry spans solo and chamber music, modern and period instruments, composer collaborations, arrangements, multidisciplinary projects, and artistic leadership.
