Jewish Film Series: Our Bodies & Other Shames

Join us for a screening of Jenny Lester’s 2026 drama Our Bodies & Other Shames, which follows three estranged childhood friends reuniting in Brooklyn after receiving devastating news. Over the course of one night, they confront haunting memories and younger versions of themselves as the past collides with the present. Blending three timelines with a touch of fairytale wonder, the film explores friendship, memory, and the possibility of hope. A talkback with special guest Malka Wallick, the film’s writer, lead actor, and producer, will follow the screening.
