About In the Moment
Step into a peaceful exploration of the natural world with the North Carolina Zoo, where familiar bird and insect sounds are used to spark connection and shared reflection. In the Moment: Cultural Activities for the Memory Community is a program series designed for individuals living with memory changes and their care partners, encouraging engagement with topics ranging from the arts to the diversity of life on earth. Hosted at the NC Museum of Art, the series offers opportunities for meaningful interaction, personal expression, and learning through partnerships with cultural institutions across North Carolina, including the North Carolina Zoo, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, the North Carolina Museum of History, and the North Carolina Botanical Garden.
