Join me for another In the Community Town Hall, focused on E-Bike Safety, on: 📅 Saturday, October 3rd ⏰ 10 AM–1 PM Beaver Creek Shopping Center - Old Navy and TJ Maxx Parking Lot North Side This will be an opportunity for riders and families to pull up, learn, ask questions, and have a little fun while putting safety first. 👨‍👩‍👧 Parents are highly encouraged to attend. We’ll have: 🚲 A controlled safety course Safety pledges 📚 Education & awareness 👮 Safety information provided by Apex PD (Legal vs Illegal bikes) and Town Codes impacting E-bikes 🍧 Cold treats Let’s make safety a priority, look out for one another, and help prevent accidents. There will be a safety ride. Education + Awareness = Safer Riding.

The Honorable Mayor Jacques K. Gilbert Community Town Hall on e-Bike Safety is an outdoor educational event designed to teach riders and parents about safe riding habits and local regulations. What to Know: The event takes place in the parking lot near Old Navy and TJ Maxx at the Beaver Creek Shopping Center. Parents are highly encouraged to attend with their children. The town hall features a controlled safety course, safety pledges, and a safety ride. Officers from the Apex Police Department will be on hand to explain the differences between legal and illegal bikes, as well as the town codes that impact e-bike riders. Cold treats will also be available. This is a smart weekend stop to help your kids build confidence on their bikes while ensuring they understand the rules of the road before they ride around town.
