<p>Take a moment to slow down! Zen gardens are designed to encourage relaxation and quiet reflection. With the fast pace of summer, it can feel like an art just to calm the mind. Stop by and create your own calming, dinosaur-themed mini garden to take home or display on your desk. Best for children ages 5 and up but all are welcome. </p> <p>This program will be held at North Regional Library Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10a.m. The address is 221 Milton Rd. Durham, NC 27712. </p> <p>This event will be held outside, weather permitting, so please dress accordingly. </p> <p>Homeschool Learning Lab meets weekly year-round. In the summer, we ask for registration in order to help with program prep.<strong> Please register each child attending.</strong> </p> <p>If you have any questions, accessibility questions or accommodation needs, please contact Molly at mschaefer@dconc.gov.
