What is Hidden Pictures: K-2nd Adventures? This is a free, hands-on art program where early elementary students use crayon resist techniques to reveal secret watercolor drawings. What to Know: This event is designed specifically for children in kindergarten through second grade. It takes place at the West Regional Library in Cary, which offers a large, free parking lot right out front. Because space is limited, you must pick up a free entry ticket at the Youth Services Desk starting at 4:45 PM. Since watercolor and crayons are involved, it is best to dress your child in clothes that can handle a few paint splatters. This program makes a fantastic weekday afternoon outing because it provides a structured, creative activity without any cleanup for you at home. It is an easy way to ease into the evening routine while letting your child practice fine motor skills with other local kids.
