For September's scavenger hunt, we've hidden pictures of 10 cats throughout the children's area of the library (in honor of Happy Cat Month)... Can you find them all?! This scavenger hunt will run from Sept. 1st through Sept. 30th! The Happy Cat Month Scavenger Hunt at Southwest Regional is a self-guided search game where children look for ten hidden cat pictures throughout the library's dedicated kids' space. It runs daily during regular library hours through the end of September. This activity is best suited for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students who enjoy visual search games. There is no cost to participate, and you can drop in at any point during the day without registration. The library offers a large, free parking lot directly in front of the building, and you do not need to bring any special supplies to play. It makes a highly practical outing because it combines a structured, quiet activity with the chance to refresh your weekly book stack. You can move at your own pace, making it easy to manage around nap schedules and snack breaks.
