For September's scavenger hunt, we've hidden pictures of 10 cats throughout the children's area of the library (in honor of Happy Cat Month)... Can you find them all?! This scavenger hunt will run from Sept. 1st through Sept. 30th! The Happy Cat Month Scavenger Hunt at Southwest Regional is a self-guided search game where children look for ten hidden cat pictures throughout the library's dedicated kids' space. What to Know: This activity is completely free and requires no registration. It is best suited for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students who enjoy a simple search-and-find challenge. The Southwest Regional Library has a dedicated parking lot with plenty of free spaces, and you can easily combine this visit with checking out books or playing in the children's area. This is a reliable weekend option because it is entirely indoors, making it a perfect backup plan for a rainy afternoon or a hot day. Since it runs all day, you can fit it into your schedule whenever your kids need a quiet, structured activity to burn off some mental energy.
