Hand-Built Dishes & Ashtrays is a clay-modeling workshop where participants design and construct their own small vessels. Hosted at Redhead Hemp Canna Cafe, this pop-up session is led by instructors from EarthenTide Studios who guide you through the entire hand-building process. During the session, you will shape one or two small to medium pieces, such as a ring dish or a matchbook holder. No prior pottery experience is necessary to join. After you select your glaze from the studio palette, the instructors will take your work to be fired, and your finished pieces will be ready for pickup in four to five weeks. This workshop makes a wonderful weekend escape to focus on a tactile project. It is a quiet, creative way to spend a Sunday afternoon learning a new skill and making custom pieces for your home.
